Why Skylark?

We believe that one of the greatest needs of the church in Nicaragua today is a retreat facility that can be used for:

the training of Pastors and Church workers
the nurture of the body of Christ, across all denominational lines
retreats that will encourage spiritual growth
camping and life shaping opportunities for youth and children
retreat opportunities for Pastors, Missionaries and Christian workers.

Threefold Ministries undertook the Skylark project because

Reasonably priced facilities like this are rare in Nicaragua.
This type of facility will be well used as our bookings attest.
There are many ministries that join in partnership with us.

What is Project Skylark?

In late 2004 the Skylark Trust purchased 5 Manzanas or roughly 9.5 Acres of land near San Marcos about 45 minutes south of Nicaragua's capital, Managua. In 2005 about 80% was under cultivation producing Bean crops. Since that time the Trust has founded Threefold Ministries and constructed the Skylark Centre.
