In 2004 St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada purchased a piece of property in Nicaragua. The funds for the purchase were drawn from St. Andrew's Skylark Trust. The dream was to create partnerships with the church in Nicaragua and to help the national church of Nicaragua to fulfill its role in the Great Commission. In November 2005 the congregation sent Pastor Gary Robinson and Skylark Trustee Bob Fisher to Nicaragua to determine God's will for the best use of this land for His glory. They consulted extensively with the people of Nicaragua.

  • They met with the leaders of the major evangelical churches in Nicaragua and with many of pastors, leaders and coordinators of Child Evangelism Fellowship, Nicaragua.
