Threefold has been supporting this school for a number of years now. It is located in the poorest barrio (neighbourhood) in Nicaragua and the children of the school would not receive education without the support of Threefold. There are six grades, 206 students and, as of this month, 25 new graduates!

Through your generous support we have been able to pay all of the teachers' salaries, provide learning materials and arrange for a daily feeding program for the children. The sign reads "New Life in Christ Baptist School's third Grade Six graduating class. New Life in Christ Baptist School dedicates this commencement ceremony to St Andrew's Church. May God bless the people of your church."

I recently met with Adan Reynosa, the Director of Nueva Vida, and was struck once again by his enthusiasm and commitment to making a difference in the lives of some of the most needy children in Nicaragua. Together we have set a course for 2010 that will see Threefold's commitment to the school increase by 17%. This increase will be used to put a full time principal in place and respond to a government mandated increase to our 6 teachers' salaries.
