Our trip agenda is in the planning stages. Please check back. |
How do I pack! In a word lightly!
You may want to keep the following in mind as you pack for your trip:
- Dress for the climate it's HOT!
- Light clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and a water bottle to carry with you.
- Don't forget a notepad for journaling and recording the memories of your trip.
- Leave anything at home that you really want to keep. This includes jewellery, expensive watches, etc. It's unlikely that anything will happen, but there's no sense taking chances
- Washroom facilities are not always like ours in Canada. It would be a good idea to have hand sanitizer and travel packs of tissues with you.
- All personal items are to be packed into one carryon bag (be sure to use an appropriate sized bag as designated by the airline).
- Two hockey bags full of medical supplies will accompany each person travelling to Nicaragua.
