Mauricio has been married to Carolina since July 2003. Together they have two children - Briana, born in 2008, and Andrés, born in 2013. Mauricio has a degree in Engineering of Management Systems and specialized studies on Teaching techniques for small business owners. Mauricio has worked for Threefold Ministries since its inception in 2006 and lives with his family on the grounds of the Skylark Centre. Mauricio oversees the operation of the Ministry in the country, leading staff as well as managing banking, legal and government relationships. He plays the piano and loves worshipping with his contemporary praise band, Kenosis.
